Over all they have a lot of stuff but it's not well layed out so hard to find things. Which would be OK but there isn't a ton of staff so it makes it harder to deal with. However I will say when you find someone they are always very helpful.
I have gone ther multiple times and not been able to pickup what was shown as in stock online. I understand this happens, but this last visit we purchased fencing in store and they said everything was in inventory. We spent an hour with employees in the yard trying to find all the panels we had purchased. In the end they were 10 panels short and we had to return everything. They suggested we check out a different store which is over an hour from our house.
Menards was my store of choice, Not No more. I just bought a fixer upper and was going to open account and get carpet, tile, paint plus my new appliances. This started by me calling store about questions on cabinets. I called and the phone rang for over 2.5 min with no answer. I drove the 15 miles to store to ask in person. While I was looking in the back of store and waiting for help. Johnny fork lift driver keep doing his little horn and waiting for me to move. I was already just a foot from display. If captain dumb ass would of got off the lift and moved a shopping cart that they used for putting stock away. He would have had a larger area to get by. I feel that with out customers, you don't need to worry about driving that lift. I went to the store I hate the most! Home Depot. I just looked but I will not purchase from them either. The best place is about 10 more miles away but I will open account there. Always had great service and people really help. Hello Lowes
Other than a small handful of associates at this store, the rest of the associates seem to be completely untrained in there area's. I have been disappointed on several occasions, both in store and with special orders. Menards is great if you know what you need and were to find it, otherwise its a constant disappointment. Andy in the electrical department however is a great example of what an associate should be, knows his department and regular clients and is always happy to help
I was really surprised today as to how the employee that was operating the forklift platform did not have the leg straps of his fall protection fastened. When asked if that was the correct way to wear the harness " oh sure wear it this way all the time". And during Christmas is NOT the time to be remodeling!!
