Had an hour wait, but the staff was extremely helpful. Impressive service.
I have low expectations for customer service due to past DMV experiences and this visit was no different. I went during a "slower" time, about 2:00, there were a couple people in the waiting area (5 tops) and I still waited 10 minutes to get a question answered. They had me take a number, sit down and a few minutes later the same lady who handed me my number was available to help me in another isle. I had 1 question "I bought a car 2 weeks ago and wondering if my plates I took off my old car have been transferred to my new car" she was not pleased with my question, no eye contact, no smiles-made me feel I was in the principles office rather than there on my free will. Is it a requisite to be employed by the DMV to have zero personality, poor customer service and appear irritated at all times?
Had an awesome, and surprisingly expedited trip to the DMV today! One of the employees came out to the line to inquire what everyone needed, and to make sure we had our forms in order. And the gentleman who helped us behind the counter, saved me from taking an extra step on my form that would've cost me another $85! Thanks so much!
